Is anything that a democrat has done for or in this country ever been good, or is this web site solely to achieve a political agenda? If so, could you please let me in on it. Everything that I have read here leads me to believe that you are never going to, or never will have anything good to say only in passing. Never make it part of you agenda to tell the truth.

I don’t see this as a functional premise. I think that both business and government have their proper places in our society. What should concern us is the balance of power between the two. We all want a smaller, less intrusive government, but the government needs to be capable enough to counterbalance business.

Businesses are, of course, for profit entities, and under our Capitalist system, they compete with other businesses. Not all businesses are ethically strong, and many businesses are morally insensitive, at lesat to some degree. Competition may bring out the best in us, but it can also bring out the worst. We need government to counterbalance the power business has to adversely affect our lives. History, both recent and distant, has clearly shown the need for these regulations.

Our system of government is based on the balance of powers. This balance of power needs to be maintained across all aspects of our society. Business, in general have become very powerful…and potentially even more so with the recent SCOTUS campaign finance ruling. We must have a government sufficiently large and powerful to protect us from any other powerbase, and the opposite is true as well.

If President Obama only listened to Crane Durham… *fill in the blank*. I think when discussing our current president, as you have said repeatedly on your radio broadcast, it all boils down to ideology. Obama is an extremely ideological president, and not a lot of poll numbers or outspoken American citizens are going to change his world view. Instead of setting the intelligence agencies towards the task at hand (complete eradication of Al Quaeda and radical jihadism - something I admire President Bush for attempting) our President has decided to set his sights on the former administration to place blame and cause distractions, while pushing his IDEOLOGY of criminalizing terrorists instead of using the power of military tribunals during wartime. Then again, the problem may be that his extensive Harvard legal training is getting in the way of defending his homeland. Who knows.

I appreciate your broadcast, Crane. Great show tonight.

One could only wish….but my mama used to say, “If wishes were horses, dreamers would ride”! I never quite understood what that meant, but she always said it when I told her I “wished” something that was highly unlikely to happen.

Thank you for helping to spread this perspective. Too often, I hear how Pres. Obama is going to destroy our country. This is unlikely, since we are still a democratic nation. The response to what has been happening in Washington is proof enough of that. And that response will turn into voting trends soon enough…

I have been doing Hannity, Limbaugh, you and other AFR folks. You expose yourself as a sinner imperfect saved by grace. That is cool. You allow the left to call your show and respectfully disagree. Okay did this guy Marcus say anything that made sense, what is your argument? Everything being revealed is truth whether you like it or not and you can’t argue with truth. When you shed light on something the truth always comes out. if you make up something and say it over and over, it doesn’t make it truth. This administration is corupt and we’ll be paying the price and so will you, Marcus. how is the whining working for you???

Everyone in my family and a host of friends definitely support Beck. We enjoy the radicalism and also his sensitivity to issues that affect us all. We also enjoy your show and others on AFR Talk Radio. Wouldn’t it be great if obama and his chicago gangsters would speak out against Crane Durham. Keep it up and maybe they will. Anybody with eyes and ears can see the bias that you and Fox News have against Obama. Please stop with all the grandstanding dude. You’re not fooling anyone. You’re like a kid sticking a leg over the fence knowing full well that he isn’t going to cross over. The only difference between you and Rush Limbaugh is that Rush isn’t afraid to speak his mind. We all know you hate Obama. Stop hiding behind the Bible and please stop playfully calling Obama “My President”. We know you didn’t vote for him, and that’s your right. If you don’t like him have the fortitude to come out and say it. Be sure to tell your buddies Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reily the same.
