Let me say, I am absolutely outraged at what is happening to the United States and the Republican Party. The disease of liberalism infects both the social and economic foundations of our country. This, coupled with the absolute willful ignorance about Islam and the war we are currently fighting is equally infuriating. The only antidote that will treat this disease is truth, nothing but truth. • Electing the President of the United States, Looking Beyond The Slogans

“Hope” and “Change you can believe in” are empty slogans, not solutions. They are not worthy of someone running for the next leader of the free world, especially when they are used to hide an insidious agenda. Barack Obama has used these seemingly benign words and slogans to be the virtual nominee of the Democratic Party. How could people be so naïve? The answer is simple: liberals (read far left) believe in these slogans because, like most of their generation, they are not concerned with substance. They revel and celebrate 60’s movements of free love, anti-war protests and Woodstock. The results of these so-called liberating movements range in their destructive legacies:

• The decoupling of sex from marriage yielding greater incidences of out of wedlock births.
• Epidemic STDs: Herpes, HPV and Aids.
• The glorification of drug use.
• Genocide in Southeast Asia and the smearing of Vietnam Veterans.

Once again, the results are far from benign, and substantive only in their devastation. This generation of leftists (and their subsequent MTV spawn) has embraced Obama despite his radical church teaching, socialist economic platform and plan to repeat the mistake of Vietnam.

The empty idealism of the Obama platform has no place in an America facing real world challenges on every front: Foreign Policy, Economically and Culturally. You cannot defeat bloodthirsty tyrants with hippie-esque sloganeering. Nor can you stimulate the economy through raising taxes and restricting trade. Lastly, you cannot promote life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness while advocating: unrestricted abortion, the promotion of race-based discrimination, and the acceptance of a racist religious ideology (Black Liberation Theology) along with the association with an unrepentant terrorist (William Ayers). Obama supporters may judge these assessments as an unfair characterizing of their messiahs’ platform. Let us review Obama’s solutions:

Problem: For over the last 25 years Iran’s theocracy has been killing Americans most recently in Iraq. They are the chief sponsor of Islamic terrorism in the world and are currently developing a nuclear weapon program. Their President, who has talked about wiping Israel off the map and has described the holocaust as a myth recently stated, “The criminals assume that by holding celebrations…They can save the sinister Zionist regime from death and annihilation.”
Obama’s Answer: Withdraw from Iraq and sit down with Ahmadinejad without conditions.

Problem: The economy is stalled recently yielding a .6 growth in GDP, rising inflation and high energy (record oil)/food costs.
Obama’s Answer: Wealth redistribution through raising taxes marginally as well as on capital gains, which both have proven to yield more revenue when lowered. He has targeted cuts for lower economic bracket and elimination of taxes for seniors who earn under 50,000 dollars. As for energy he opposes drilling in ANWR, higher taxes on coal and windfall profit tax for oil companies (again, that has yielded less production).

Problem: Culturally, we have entered a brave new world with embryonic stem cell research, abortion on demand and redefinition of marriage. The next president will be most likely have two Supreme Court nominations thus altering the court’s conservative tilt.
Obama Answer: Federally funded embryonic stem cell research, opposed Illinois Born Alive Infant bill, and he supports legal recognition of same sex unions (semantics). In addition, he supports affirmative action.

There is nothing new about Barack Obama’s platform; it is dovish liberalism with a clear record of genocide, economic turmoil and decline for the respect of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Government cannot produce hope; it comes from individual citizens whom are free to be innovative and productive. What Obama offers is not hope, but oppression.
