Government Healthcare kills…
The goal: lower cost, increase efficiency and provide greater access. So why is the government attempting to become moreinvolved in the health care system…because they are counting on you to be so afraid, frustrated and stupid that you ignore the overwhelmingevidence against government run health care. The notion that we need to mandate employers (pay or play) to provide health insurance is nothing short of insanity; it has been, and continues to be, an outdated, failed approach. But hey, the left wing polices are clearly not based on rational thinking; they are based on emotions. Programs are measured in intentions, not results. How could we embrace a system which the rest of the world, having tried it, is now moving away from?
These politicians that advance these policies prey on our collective anger at the current system, which is not a free market, but rather, is a hybrid between the free market and socialism. The Insurance companies are portrayed as heartless villains; they have audacity to be run as a business (for profit). For the record, insurance companies are by no means angels; merely market participants. The politicians are viewed as heroes; remember they are working to: bring costs down, improve efficiency and provide greater access. As much as I can’t stand dealing with the insurance companies, I will not fall for the government’s straw man. The problems in health care can be traced to government’s intervention and subsequent regulation. From wage controls (genesis of employer provided health care) to mandates, the government has destroyed the consumer provider relationship thus ending the free market. They have done this incrementally by once again, voting pieces of the treasury to a particular constituency in the form of government program. The people, ostensibly benefiting from the program, embrace the subsidy.
Well, having been hit by the iceberg known as time, the Titanic Ponzi is sinking, and there are only so many lifeboats to go around. So how will we morally reconcile denying one passenger a seat while granting a seat to the other? We need to make one a villain, so we can moralize our decision. Ironically, the enemy will become the group that is most vulnerable; the people who need the system most, the elderly. Here’s how it will play out:
President Obama’s plan will lead to a rationing of services. The debate will become a generational war of costs: healthy young vs. the aging sick. Since government is the provider of health care, it will choose who lives and who dies. Euthanasia will be extolled as virtuous act; voluntarily removing the economic burden on society by living longer.
Think I am off? Abortion (birth control) was recently characterized by the current Speaker of the House as an economic stimulus. Why not euthanasia?
Again, generational battles will ensue, but this time the battles will be fought solely in economic terms. Thus, the war for life will be lost. The country that was founded on an inalienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (powers from the Almighty) will descend permanently into a brave new world where government decides if you live or die.

I don’t think the government is telling the truth about health care. The health care industry has some problems, but it also has lots of choices. People have a problem with what they choose. I chose to not have health care. My friends chose not to have health care. The health care industry offers individual plans and family plans when businesses don’t offer health care. There is Medicaid for low income. It is my opinion that if a person chooses not to have health care then that is their choice not mine. Some people don’t know it, but Doctors and Hospitals give discounts to low income and people who don’t have insurance. They also set up payment plans that don’t charge interest. I and others should not have to pay for a persons choice to not have health insurance. The excuse that some people will use to justify not getting insurance is the cost. If you research it on the internet you will find that there are individual plans that start around $100 a month. People choose to spend their money on other things instead of getting insurance. That is their choice not mine.
Government run health care is nothing less than a control trigger on the population of this country.A crisis will pop up then more control will come.people should have been awake from the start about obama.there are only a couple of republicans that can beat obama later, that would be a romney-palin team, mccains ego and inaction got the best of him. he’s a great guy being a former pow and all but many men suffered in that bloodbath called vietnam, they are no less great too.Well lets hope the rep. party gets its act together soon.-harv
“Hi, I am from the government and I am here to help you.” The words we don’t want to hear. How about “45 million people are without healthcare.”? This is what we keep hearing from the liberal news media as they continue to advertise for government healthcare. I say advertise, because they are not reporting accurately and are skewing the facts to help sell the governments product. Lets just call it deception in advertising. Or how about “Anything But Truth”. I read an article from OneNewsNow.com by Larry Elder titled “45 million americans–Who are these guys.” After reading this article I determined that they would be more honest about there reporting if they said “15% of Americans are without health insurance.” Note the 15% instead of 45 million and health insurance instead of health care. by changing these 2 phrases you get a whole different view of the situation of of the problem in america. Another words they are advertising instead of reporting.
